The Share Panel

Shares a drill, the drill library, a library plan or an event's plan by link. Each page shows the same Share panel.

Who Can See It
Picks who opens the link. The choices are Private, Coaches, Families and Public.
The sentence under it
Names exactly who opens the link now.
Link
The address. Click the address to open the page in a new tab.
Copies the address to the clipboard.
Share
Opens your phone's share menu with the address. Appears only when the browser supports sharing.
Copy PDF Link
Copies the address of the link's PDF.
New Link
Makes a new address after you confirm. The old page link and the old PDF link stop working.
Example Who Can See It set to Families, with the sentence that names them and the link under it.
ChoiceWho opens the linkLogin
Private Nobody. The record has no link. None
Coaches Your coaches who may see the record Required
Families Your coaches and your families. An event's plan reaches only the families at that event. Required
Public Anyone who holds the link None
Private
Removes the link at once, with no confirm. The page link and the PDF link stop too.
Public
Asks you to confirm first, in a red band in the panel. The address stays the same.
Coaches or Families
Changes at once, with no confirm. The address stays the same.
Someone outside the choice
Opens a We Cannot Find That Page error. A visitor who has not logged in goes to Log In first.
A choice after Private
Brings back the same link with the new choice. A link you already sent works again. Click New Link for a new address.
Band
Names the choice beside Share, with its glyph. A lock means private. Two people mean coaches. A house means families.
Where it stands
Under the plan on an event's Plan tab and on a library plan. Among the panels on a drill, after Media. Under the cards on the drill library.

The Shared Plan Page

Shows the event's plan to anyone who opens the share link.

Plan
The event's current plan, with its drill pictures, videos and paper pages. Each drill and station names its coaches.
Print Plan
Opens the detailed plan as a print page.
Save PDF
Saves the detailed plan as a PDF file. On a phone that can share files, the button reads Share PDF.
Nothing else
The page shows only the plan. No roster, attendance or notes appear, not even notes sent from a phone.
Address
Nobody can guess the address. Search engines never list the address.

The PDF holds the same plan as the print page. The PDF shows nothing else about the event.

When a Session Is Completed

Stops sharing a practice, training or off ice session once the session is completed. The plan share link and the session's public page both stop.

A session counts as completed when a coach marks the session Completed. A confirmed session counts once its end time passes. A planned session keeps sharing.

Plan share link
Opens a Plan No Longer Shared page in place of the plan. The PDF link stops too.
Public page
The session leaves the team's public page. Staff still see the session there, marked Staff Preview.
Share menu
Says Sharing stopped inside the Share menu on the Plan tab. The link stays in the menu.
Overview tab
The public page link box under Event Details leads with Sharing stopped. An admin also gets a link to Organization Settings.
Back on
Set the session back to Planned. The same link works again. Confirmed restores sharing only while the end time is still ahead.
SettingWhereWhat It Decides
Completed Sessions Organization Settings, Sharing panel The default for every plan link and every public page.
Completed Sessions Account Settings, Sharing panel The plan links you make. Organization Default uses the organization's setting.
A public page always uses the organization's setting. A plan link uses the setting of the coach who made the link.

Public Pages

A team or program can have a public page that shows its schedule. A program is a clinic, camp or training group outside any team.

Address
Joins the organization's Web Address with the team's Page Address.
Who Can See It
Decides who can open the page. Set it in the Public Page panel on the team's page.
Roster
Off by default. Turn on Show the Roster in the team's settings to list the players.
Who Can See ItWho Can Open the PageRoster, When Shown
Private Nobody. The page does not open. Not shown.
Coaches Staff of the workspace who log in. Names and numbers.
Families Anyone signed in with an active membership in the workspace. Families and staff. Names and numbers.
Public Anyone with the link. Numbers and first names only. Never a surname.
A third way shares a schedule with calendar apps. See Calendar Links.

Events on a Public Page

An event is a practice, game or other session on the schedule. Each event follows its team's choice, the switcher's first option Team Default. To change it for one event, use the Public Page panel on the event's Overview.

Click Team Default to put the event back on the team's choice. A Public choice asks you to confirm first.

A planned session on a team that hides planned events opens for staff only. It opens for others once you confirm the session.

A session's The Plan on the Page setting decides how much of its plan the page shows.

The Plan on the PageWhat the Page Shows
Outline Each block's name and minutes.
Full Sheet Without Diagrams The filled plan sheet without drill diagrams.
Not Shown No plan.

What Never Leaves the App

No public page shows the following, at any visibility.

  • A player's photo, notes, attendance or evaluations.
  • A full birthday. Public pages and the signup show the birth year at most.
  • Drill pictures and paper pages. Only a plan share link or a drill share link shows those, each for its one plan or drill.
  • Card details. Card payments hand off to Stripe.
